			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p><a href="http://www.polaroid.com" target="_blank">Polaroid</a> <a href="http://www.boston.com/business/technology/articles/2008/02/08/polaroid_shutting_2_mass_facilities_laying_off_150/" target="_blank">just announced</a> that they&#8217;re getting out of the Polaroid business!  If you&#8217;ve got a Polaroid camera, now&#8217;s the time to stock up on instant film before they&#8217;re gone.</p>
<p>In the days of film and long before the digital camera era, people turned to Polaroid for their photography instant gratification needs.  Didn&#8217;t feel like waiting for the roll to finish and getting your prints from a lab, buy a Polaroid.  Don&#8217;t want the lab to see the risqué photos of you and your partner, buy a Polaroid.</p>
<p>I&#8217;ve held and shot a Polaroid camera before when I was younger and it really did seem like a miracle how what you saw through the viewfinder magically appears on the paper that the camera spits out.</p>
<p>Now, I&#8217;m going to try to find a Polaroid camera.  Somewhere.  Anywhere.</p>
