This is a 6 shelf system using commercial chrome steel. It features retaining ledges in the back of each shelf for ultimate support as well as Triple-Truss support. It can hold 600 lbs (272.1 kg) per shelf and a total 3600 lbs (1632.9 kg) using the leveling feet. When using wheels, the carrying capacity is reduced to 500 lbs (226.8 kg) total. Did I mention it’s NSF certified?

Anna needed some shelving for all her scrapbook stuff but didnt want to add any shelving to the walls so she opted for a stand-alone solution. There were a few choices at Costco including a more compact, heavier unit with solid metal shelving. Another one was a cheaper, lighter, resin based shelving. In the end, she chose what I believe was the best combination of durability, price, and holding capacity.

We’ve been looking to move to a bigger home recently and finally we’ve taken the first step: listing our current property. Our property has many things going for it: close to amenities, close to public transit, has an attached garage instead of a parkade, has a relatively low monthly strata fee. I’m confident our place should sell fairly quickly.

Anna found us a realtor who is a friend of a friend. I’ll reveal her name when all transactions are complete. So far, this realtor has been nothing short of great. She’s communicating with us constantly via email especially if she finds a property that we may be interested in. She’s taken the time to arrange viewings of potential properties (some nice, some not so nice, some far, some really far) even into the evenings.

After having done a comparative market analysis, our realtor set a list price on our home that actually took us by surprise; it was higher than we were expecting. But after looking at recent listings and sales in our area for comparable units, it seems our place is priced just right to attract the right amount of attention.

Our realtor has uploaded our listing and pictures to all realtor computer systems (MLS, mlxchange, RealtyLink, etc). Our open house is scheduled for this Sunday.

In parallel to this first step of listing our place, I’m also in contact with a mortgage broker to pre-approve us for a mortgage for our new place. Our new place will most likely be more expensive than the place we have now so it’s in our best interest to know just how much the bank will approve us for so we can stick to houses we can actually afford. Once we receive notice from the broker, it’s off to some serious house hunting we go. Once our place sells, we can make offers without a “subject to sale of purchaser’s property”.

So I checked out the store to see what they have to offer. There’s a wide variety of faucets there. Go have a look.

We’re looking to sell our place soon and our kitchen faucet badly needs to be replaced (the pullout sprayer is cracked and is currently being held together by tape – LOL). It’s a simple single-control faucet with a pull-out sprayer. I decided to get a cheap one since we’ll be selling our place anyway. So I picked up something very basic; something very OEM-looking and not too conspicuous.

<td class="LL"style="height:190px">

<td class="RR"style="height:190px">

<td class="BB"style="width:191px">

53860cc_400

The old faucet was a bit of a pain in the ass to remove since I’m new to all this faucet replacement stuff. But once I got all the copper supply pipes removed everything was a piece of cake. I went to The Home Depot to pick up some flexible supply lines to replace the solid copper supply lines. It really makes installation much easier since there’s no need for flaring, bending, etc, etc.

My beef with the one I bought was that the sprayer’s hose is made of grey plastic. I opted to re-use the old faucet’s sprayer hose since it’s a much higher-quality looking chrome material. Also, the new faucet didn’t come with a weight to attach to the hose to help it retract so I had to use the old one too. But other than that, the price can’t be beat. So for $74 USD ($40 + $34 shipping), I bought a faucet that retails in-store for $150! Can’t complain ’bout that.

But ICQ is still very much alive. Just out of curiosity, I checked out the ICQ website. It seems to be quite updated. And, if you still remember someone’s ICQ number, you can plug it in to this URL:
