Listing activity for our home
Previously, I mentioned that our home is on the market. It just went up on MLS.CA today so it’s now visible to the public. Our realtor actually listed our home on Monday so other realtors have actually been made aware of our listing prior to its being made public on the MLS website.
Here are some interesting numbers from the mlxchange system with respect to our home:

So far, there seems to be some initial interest in our home. Our realtor even had requests from other realtors for a viewing. However, our realtor had already sent out postcards in the neighbourhood advertising our upcoming Open House so she declined on our behalf. We’re also advertised on Craig’s List, Van Net community papers, and her office’s kiosk in Metrotown. I think this was a good move. It builds up interest and should drive traffic to our Open House. There’s really no need to waste our energy to show the place before our Open House.
