The American Democratic presidential race is now down to two main candidates: Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.
Everywhere I look on the Internet, people use Mr. Obama’s last name as though it were his first name.
Someone even set up a blog called “Hillary vs. Obama”: http://hillaryvsobama.blogspot.com/.
I’m not sure if people are doing this on purpose or what. Or maybe because there was this other guy whose name rhymes with “Obama” and has a last name of “bin Laden”. But c’mon people, if you’re gonna use first names, be consistent and call them both by their first name. Sheesh.
