TinyMCE Advanced for WordPress
WordPress comes with a stripped down version of the TinyMCE WYSIWYG editor. It looks a bit boring:

So I decided to spruce it up a bit and download a plug-in that upgrades the text editor. I chose TinyMCE Advanced by Andrew Ozz and now it looks like this:

Installation couldn’t be easier. Just unzip the plugin to your plugin folder, activate, configure, clear your browser’s cache, and presto change-o!
