What is Mesothelioma?
I was just checking out the CyberWyre site for the highest paying search terms and came across a list where 12 of the top 20 highest paying search terms has something to do with Mesothelioma. The payouts range anywhere from $55 to $69 and from Mesothelioma treatments to doctors.
So what is Mesothelioma? From what I’ve read, it’s a form of cancer caused by asbestos exposure. So, for example, a construction worker working on a building that used asbestos may be susceptible to contracting Mesothelioma. One problem though is that symptoms may not appear until many years after being exposed to asbestos.
So why the big payout? I’m guessing that the advertisers are mainly doctors and lawyers looking to profit from the victims of asbestos exposure. Here’s a scenario. You are a construction worker that has been diagnosed with Mesothelioma. You do a search for the term and somehow wind up on my blog. You see an ad for a personal injury lawyer who specializes in Mesothelioma and you’d like to retain his services so you can sue your former employer who exposed you to the hazards of asbestos. Your lawsuit is successful, you are awarded a big payout, your lawyer takes a piece of the big pie. That’s how they can afford to pay so much for each click.
I learned something new today.
